I had good success with my lager experiments and want to do another brew before it gets warm.

Does anyone have a good Mexican Lager recipe, especially one that has medaled? My water heater room is a steady low 50ish temperature for fermenting. There is not much online.

I have some Hallertau hops (actually spalter select, a Hallertau hybrid from Washington) that I would like to use up.

I bought someones half-finished attempt at a HERMS system and have been getting it finished and working. I also got a big chest freezer with temp control and 10 corny kegs with it. Now I can lager and give beers the time they need to develop.  Thanks to the COHO brain trust for getting me familiar with the concept and the process. It is all manual control (no digital) but seems to perform as hoped.
